From music festivals to temple music shows, a band that is liked by both elementary school students and senior citizens alike.Formed in the summer of 2017, aoi is an urban folk band with singer Jeannie H, bassist Hung Kuo, and guitarist Alan. Creating music in Mandarin, Taiwanese Hokkien, and English, aoi has become known for their style that blends electronic elements with fold sensibilities. With straightforward lyrics that are tightly knitted into melodies, they are an earworm that finds its way to stay in your head. Their first Taiwanese Hokkien album  ū lí ê kòo-sū was released on June 30th 2020, and went on to be nominated for Best New Artist, Best Taiwanese Hokkien Album, and Best Album at the 33rd Golden Melody Awards.
