At a train station floating in the cloud, a mysterious red tail catches the boy’s attention. Chasing the red tail, the boy travels through countless magical places, runs into bizarre creatures, and finally he meets the gentleman, who seems to know his secrets more than he does. When the red tail reminds the boy of his own memory and sadness, what are the secrets hidden behind, and where will they lead him next?
Red Tail is a collaboration between Zero One Film and Funique VR and Co-produced by Kaohsiung Film Archive and Public Television Service. It is adapted into VR from the comic work of the same name created by the golden award-winning animation director, Fish WANG, with the help of a game engine, by scanning real models with photogrammetry technology. It was shortlisted for Venice Immersive in 2022.

The Taiwan Public Television Service (PTS) is an independent public television station that provides a wide range of programs without commercial or political influence. We show a rich, diverse and creative Taiwan. PTS has established strong drama brands such as the "PTS Innovative Story", "Life Story", "PTS Original Shorts", and "PTS Originals". We produce high-quality dramas, develop scripts, and create art and social issue films, VR and international co-production. Our goal is to be an important platform for Taiwanese film and TV programs.
Starting from 2017, Kaohsiung VR FILM LAB is a comprehensive support project including VR project funding, content showcase, and talent cultivation. It is hosted by Kaohsiung Film Archive in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The project has now supported almost 30 Kaohsiung VR FILM LAB Originals and runs the Kaohsiung VR FILM LAB Theatre, the first 8K VR theater in Taiwan. The VR section of the Kaohsiung Film Festival International Short Film Competition has just entered its 5th year. XR Panorama Program along with industry events including International XR Forum and Kaohsiung VR FILM LAB Talent Workshop are also part of the festival, making it the biggest XR festival in Asia.
