YK Band is a duo that is talented in both live performance and soundtrack production, with their production team based in the United States and Spain. They are known for creating unique original game soundtracks, theme songs, and film scores, working in Metaverse/XR music design and original IPs with ancient and rare sounds. For more information, please "Y" is Yerko Lorca from Spain, and "K" is the Guan-Ying from Taiwan. The two met in Barcelona's Park Guell through music and founded the "YK Band" in 2015, known for using rare and ancient musical instruments from the world, including the Kora, which is the traditional West African harp, the Tartesstian Lyre, a 3,000-year-old and extinct instrument from Spain, and the ancient Mediterranean Tar drum. The band uses these instruments, along with their male and female harmonic voices to create music that is one of a kind.  They have played at music festivals and concerts at home and abroad over the past few years. In 2022, the duo set up "YK creations" a music production house dedicated to the production and development of game music sound effects. Their work ranges from fantasy music, which has taken inspiration from the movie soundtracks, new ancient music adapted from discoveries by archaeologists. They also combine digital ambient sounds, stepping into the world of game soundtracks, giving listeners a portal to the various possibilities of narrative music to connect emotions. Cross-genre, fusion, world, game music, and ancient and unfamiliar sounds are the elements that YK uses to awaken the infinite imagination of human beings.
