Due to teenage experiences, Li Chengfeng becomes a physician that believes no one but himself. Guo Xiaojun from the establishment argues the hospital system exists to protect majority interests. Although they both work in Capital Hospital, their lines never cross until the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020. As they stand on the frontline against the pandemic, their diagonally opposing stances are questioned and challenged amid this crisis. Each patient comes with different issues, but they are all screaming for help. Chengfeng and Xiaojun have to overcome their fears and learn to trust each other, as saving lives is their common objective.
