Yen Na-na, the 17-year-old daughter of a rich family, lives a cynical and boring life. While setting up a badger game to mess with her teacher, she unintentionally encounters 35-year-old drug dealer Jin Qin, who just got out of prison. It is love at first sight. Na-na falls head over heels for Jin Qin, yet she could never grasp the secret that lurks behind his eyes.

Returning to his old trade, Jin Qin gets busted in a drug deal and is wanted by police again. The lovestruck Na-na volunteers to carry a bomb and pretend to be a hostage, so they can rob a bank and escape with loads of cash together. But as fate would have it, the robbery exposes the secret of why Jin Qin was imprisoned in the first place, and even suggests that their romance could be a sham, turning the love birds against each other. Even so, they remain on the run together, while other members like Lai-da, Xi-shi and Adi-zai join them, turning Na-na into a real hostage. And thus this group of marginalized people embark on a crazy journey of discovery and love.
