Front desk personnel Joy Lin woke up to an upside-down world. She found herself transforming from miss invisible to social media queen after a fourteen-days blackout.

At first, she thought she had gone completely mad. Turned out that she switched bodies with socialite Liang-liang Gu, who worked as PR in the company.

Joy was inspired to join the ’lying flat’ movement which meant doing the bare minimum to avoid being overstretched by work. But now she is popular at work after the body swap incident. Even her mother showed preference to the new her. She couldn’t help wondering: was her life that insignificant? As for Liang-liang, she discovered that she had no life but constructed images under the glossy façade of having-it-all life.

From having absolutely no common ground to mutual understanding, the two women embarked on a trip of returning to their own bodies and discovering themselves with a little bit of help from their mothers.
