Fifteen-year-old Pan An-ching finds a letter. She recalls that when she was little, she had a foreign nanny who doted on her and was more like her mother than her real mother. During the COVID-19 pandemic, An-ching decides to find her “second mom”, to see if she is still safe and sound.

An-ching and her best friend Lo Ting-yu thus hatch a plan to find the Indonesian nanny but keep encountering obstacles and disturbances, resulting in chaos in their love, friendship, family and teacher-student relationships. To avoid regret, they finally manage to board a plane to Indonesia against all odds, but somehow end up landing on a little-know island. Now they are in serious danger…
