Lesley is a 27-year-old girl working in Jakarta. Her life spins out of control when her boyfriend, Reza, breaks up with her. While suffering heartbreak, she returns home just to be ambushed by her father to go on a blind date. At rock bottom, Lesley's aunt, Zola, encourages her to leave all sadness behind and step out of her comfort zone. This is when Lesley decides to leave for Taipei, where her favorite series, Meteor Garden, is made, to welcome a new chapter of her life.

Yet, Taipei is not quite like what Lesley is expecting. She loses her belongings on the first day and cannot find her way. In desperation, she finally receives help from a noodle stand that provides her with a bowl of warm beef noodle. While eating, Lesley surprises the stand owner, Howard, by naming out all the ingredients in the dish. It turns out that Lesley is a supertaster! After deciding to stay, Lesley becomes friends with people she meets in the city, and her life seems to get more and more exciting with new romance, new friends and even a new job. But still, she has to discover what she really wants.
