Moondream Reality combines mixed reality and immersive projection, pushing the boundaries of art through technology, and creates a new form of art space. It allows participants to be fully immersed as active characters of the story.
“Formosan Harmony”is a fantasy-driven immersive show about magic, wonder, and the balance between humans and nature. Combining 360 projection, Lidar sensors, HoloLens 2 headsets, and Dolby surround sound, our production transforms multiplayer guests into the heroes of the show, unlocking scenes through their interactions.
We have two main goals regarding our future plan. Firstly, we would like to create an open platform for local and international creators to produce mixed reality content to make the immersive industry flourish. Secondly, we plan to open additional Moondream Reality Theaters internationally, allowing creators and partners to gain profit through content authorization fees and ticket sales. For us, Moondream Reality is not only a venue, but an industry we are building long-term.
Through participating in the TCCF Creative Content Showcase, we hope to bring exposure to our Taiwanese talent on an international level. We are a small but mighty island, pushing the envelope within the immersive experience industry, and defining the workflow as a standardized mixed reality venue through Moondream Reality. We invite all artists - whether independent studios or large production companies - to participate in content creation, allowing the immersive industry to flourish.
Moondream Reality is a mixed reality immersive venue, located in Kaohsiung City. Our goal with Moondream Reality is to design and build a unique space, where we can push the limits of experiential storytelling for our guests. The Moondream Reality venue is modeled like a movie theater; each show is ticketed, each running 20-30 minutes long.
