A year ago, when the capital city mayoral election was approaching, pianist Jess was forced to stand as a candidate by his father, the mayor at that time. However, after he accidentally got infected and turned into a zombie, his father and the team abandoned him. But since the virus had mutated into a milder form, the zombies behaved just like humans. The abandonment by his family transformed Jess into into a fighter. Advocating the peaceful coexistence between humans and zombies, Jess won the election.

Nevertheless, as the first zombie mayor in the world, Jess is so eager to reform the city that he offends and angers his supporters. As a result, he faces a recall election, and the worst part is that at this crucial moment, Jess is kidnapped by two incompetent kidnappers.

While being kept hostage, Jess not only befriends his kidnappers but comes to realize that only when he manages to defeat his old self will he become the king of tomorrow.
