A brave and unbending little girl opened the communication channel to cross time. She became a secret partner to a grandpa who lived in the past. Before they were aware of it, their issues of life intertwined together.
Xiao-Hai, a ten-year-old girl, started to protect her family as a whole with every means after her parents separated. Meanwhile, she lost her temper more and more often; she had fights with people around her verbally and even physically.
One day, her shaker made a strange sound which led her to connect to an old man, Ah-Rong, from the past. These two fought all the time in the beginning, however, they also helped each other coincidentally. Time flies, Xiao-Hai and Ah-Rong became secret partners.
Unfortunately, Xiao-Hai’s parents were about to divorce. In the meantime, the coast cottonwood as a symbol of her home was about to be cut down. The worst part falling on her was the communication with Ah-Rong was lost out of the blue.
