Paying homage to the popular urban legend of Chopsticks Deity in Asia, Tate-Bashi explores the historical footprints and religious contexts of Taiwan, Japan and Korea. Seeking to present a Taiwanese version of Begin Again, First Note of Love features a Boy’s Love/bromance story, a popular genre in Taiwan. Heat Waves captures the friendship of three women, and invites the audience to see how women rediscover themselves and fashion their identity in turbulent times.
