Fubon Cultural and Educational Foundation has long paid attention to media literacy education for young people and children.
Observing that Taiwan children’s film and television programs are increasingly lacking and have poor content, we hope that children can have the opportunity to watch multiple programs made in Taiwan.
Since November 2018, we have organized Fubon momomini Incubator, which recruits production teams to plan programs and write scripts for children’s media. Over the past 4 years, we have received a total of 293 scripts and projects submissions. Six teams have been selected to produce original children’s films and television programs through the Incubator. The genres of the selected projects are multidimensional, including documentary, drama, and animation.
Currently, two groups of non-drama programs and two groups of scripts are entering the incubation stage. We are also endeavoring to engage more practitioners who care about children’s film and television content in Taiwan and produce high-quality programs together to create a diverse and vigorous media environment for children.
